It's where families celebrate milestones, friends reconnect, businesses strengthen relationships, and memories are made over a shared meal. I've always believed food is about more than what's on the plate—it's about bringing people together.

I was raised in Ashland, Virginia, where community has always meant something special to me. Long before Robinson Street Catering existed, my mother, Louise, welcomed people into this very building through her salon, Shear Power. Watching the relationships she built taught me that genuine hospitality begins long before a guest walks through the door. Those lessons stayed with me and quietly shaped the way I would one day serve others.

That passion eventually led me to the French Culinary Institute in New York City, where I graduated in 2001. Over the next twenty-five years, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional chefs and hospitality professionals who challenged me to grow—not only as a chef, but as a leader. Throughout my career, I've served thousands of guests, led talented culinary teams, mentored young professionals, and created experiences for weddings, private dinners, celebrations, business gatherings, and countless other memorable occasions.

Those experiences taught me something I'll never forget: people may not remember the menu, but they'll always remember how you made them feel.

Robinson Street Catering is the realization of a dream that has been years in the making. While my name may be on the door, this journey was never mine alone. My wife, Sherri, has been my greatest supporter, encouraging me through every challenge and reminding me to keep believing in this vision. My family and friends have given their time, encouragement, wisdom, and countless helping hands along the way. Their belief in me made this dream possible, and I'll always be grateful for each of them.

Above all, this business is for my son, Beckam.

Every long day, every late night, and every obstacle has been worth it because I want him to see that dreams are built through hard work, integrity, and perseverance. More than anything, I hope he grows up knowing that success isn't measured only by what you accomplish, but by the way you treat people and the impact you leave on your community.
